I have in-depth knowledge of the history of the colonization of Canada and the history of Canada’s treaty relationship. I hold a Bachelor of Laws with Honours (LLB) from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Calgary. Prior to joining Caillou Group, I completed my articles at a Calgary-based law firm which specialized in Aboriginal and First Nations Law where I focused on understanding Section 35 rights and how the duty to consult and accommodate is currently practiced in the regulatory process.
I work hard to ensure that the connection between Indigenous rights and the duty to consult and accommodate is recognized.
